The department has one commencement ceremony a year, held in the Spring. History majors graduating in Spring, Summer or either the proceeding or following Fall are welcome. This year's ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., in Zellerbach Auditorium.

In addition to the departmental ceremony the campus also offers a campuswide commenecement ceremony. It will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, 10:00 am, in Edwards Stadium. Graduating seniors from all academic disciplines can participate.
