Berkeley Law: Irving Abella, Distinguished Professor of Canadian Jewish History

On September 10, The Berkeley Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies will host a special lunch-time lecture with Professor Irving Abella.

This lecture will look at the untold story of Canada's response to the plight of Jewish refugees from Europe during the Holocaust. Lunch will be provided. Irving Abella is a Canadian writer, historian and academic. He specializes in the history of the Jews in Canada and the Canadian labour movement.
