The UC Berkeley History-Social Science Project is located on the University of California, Berkeley campus. Dwinelle Hall is located just to the west of the Campanile Tower. Our offices are on Level B, room 2407. Click here for a map of the campus.
Often, UCBH-SSP events are held in Dwinelle Hall's conference space. To access the conference space, take the elevator to level G in Dwinelle Hall. The conference space is room 370, adjacent to the cafe. Click here for more information about Dwinelle Hall.
To reach the campus by car from Interstate 80, exit at the University Avenue off-ramp in Berkeley. Take University Avenue east to Oxford Street, and turn right. Oxford Street runs along the west side of campus. There are various parking options nearby.
To reach us from Highways 24/13, exit 13 at Tunnel Road in Berkeley. Continue on Tunnel Road as it becomes Ashby. Turn right at Telegraph and drive approximately one mile north to Bancroft Way and turn left. Bancroft runs along the south side of campus.
If traveling by BART, exit at the Downtown Berkeley station, which is on the Richmond-Fremont line. When you leave the BART station, walk east on Center Street and up the hill towards campus. Follow the path through the woods towards the Campanile (Bell Tower), and Dwinelle Hall will be the first building on the right after passing the Valley Life Sciences Building on the left.
