History Departmental Graduation Ceremony:
The department has one commencement ceremony a year, held in the Spring. History students graduating in Spring, Summer or either the proceeding or following Fall are welcome. This year's ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 21st, 2013 at 9:30am, in Zellerbach Auditorium. The keynote speaker will be Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union.

Senior Convocation (University-wide commencement ceremony):
In addition to the departmental ceremony the campus also offers a campuswide Commencement ceremony. It will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, 10:00 am, in Edwards Stadium. Graduating seniors from all academic disciplines can participate.
