Research Interests:

I am a Ph.D. student specializing in modern Latin American history at the University of California, Berkeley. I am particularly interested in transnational history in the Americas and the Pacific world in the twentieth century. My research explores the vast and fundamental contributions made by Latin American states and peoples, primarily those of coastal South America, in the creation of the Pacific as a modern geopolitical space.
