Research Interests

Under the supervision of professor Wen-hisn Yeh, I am currently writing my dissertation with the working title "The Dynamics of Institution: the Interactions Between the Cabinet and the State in the Late Imperial and the Early Republican China(1911-1916)." It examines the nine cabinets established during the late imperial and the early republican China and traces the tensions as well as interactions between the cabinet, the political party, and the parliament in the late Qing and the early 20th.
