Teddy Shusterman is a PhD student in the History Department, specializing in North American history and pursuing a Designated Emphasis in Critical Theory. Their research examines the relationship between gendered selfhood and clinical practice, informed by clinical experience in gender-affirming care and emergency medicine. They currently serve as the graduate student representative on the University Health Services’ Trans Leadership Team and as a first-year representative for the History Graduate Association (HGA).
