Associate Professor Daniel Sargent has been selected to join the 2020 UC Berkeley Faculty Leadership Academy! Each year, a limited number of tenured faculty are selected to participate in this leadership development program designed for faculty who are dedicated to enhancing their leadership abilities on the Berkeley campus. “The program is based on the conviction that individuals are well positioned to create systemic and cultural change when they are provided with a broad array of tools, methodologies, and experiences. The program emphasizes collaborative and results-oriented skills, and includes opportunities to interact with a variety of senior leaders on campus.” Opportunities like this truly enrichen our Department as a whole; we’re excited for the tools Professor Sargent will gain from this program.
