We are delighted to announce that Hannah Zeavin is officially joining us as Assistant Professor in the fall, jointly appointed with the Berkeley Center for New Media. We're thrilled to have her among us.
Prof. Zeavin's work centers on the history of human sciences (psychoanalysis, psychology, and psychiatry), the history of technology, feminist STS, and media theory. Her first book, The Distance Cure: A History of Teletherapy, was published in 2021 by MIT Press. Her new work is on technology in the American family.
