I am a second year PhD student in Berkeley's History Department.
Before coming to Berkeley I spent several years in West Africa—first as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco and most recently as a student at larger school in Mauritania's Saharan desert. My Undergraduate Degree (in History) is from The University of Puget Sound and my Masters (in The Academic Study of Religion) from The University of Chicago.
Broadly, I am interested in topics related to themes of subject formation, epistemology, and technics/technicity.
